HHS: Meeting of the Presidential Advisory Council on Combating Antibiotic-Resistant Bacteria

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) will hold a public meeting of the Presidential Advisory Council on Combating Antibiotic-Resistant Bacteria (PACCARB) on September 12-13, 2022. The PACCARB advises and provides information and recommendations to the Secretary of HHS regarding programs and policies intended to reduce or combat antibiotic-resistant bacteria that may present a public health threat. The main focuses of the meeting will be on One Health Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and pandemic preparedness policy, and the final agenda will be published on thePACCARB website. Pre-registration is required for members of the public to attend the meeting and who wish present comments during the meeting.
