Initial panel of immunocytochemical markers for identification of primary carcinoma site for effusions and peritoneal washings from women
CONCLUSION: An initial panel of markers including GATA-3, PAX-8, and TTF-1 allows, with high sensitivity and specificity, the identification or exclusion of frequent primary sites of carcinoma in effusions from women. Our results highlight the importance of using a panel of markers to avoid misidentification of the primary site of tumor.PMID:35535203 | PMC:PMC9077109
