Cancer: New drug that can ‘double’ life expectancy approved on the NHS

LUNG cancer is one of the four most common cancers in the UK alongside breast, bowel, and prostate cancer. It is also a cancer with one of the lowest survival rates in the UK. However, in a boost to patients, a new drug capable of doubling life expectancy has been approved for use on the NHS.
