Effect of a sodium restriction diet on albuminuria and blood pressure in diabetic kidney disease patients: a meta-analysis

ConclusionModerate sodium restriction diets reduce urinary albumin excretion and decrease the level of blood pressure, especially for patients with macro-albuminuria. Thus, it is necessary to strengthen the intervention and health education as well as to provide individualized dietary advice.
