Sleep Dependent Memory Consolidation in Children
This article serves to provide a primer on sleep dependent memory consolidation, a process in which memory is stabilized or even enhanced over a period of sleep. Given the increased amounts of sleep needed in infancy and childhood, the link between sleep and neuronal plasticity is highlighted in this article.
