A modified technique for paravaginal repair of cystocele with paravaginal defect:a retrospective study

Anterior vaginal prolapse and cystocele are the most difficult challenges to overcome when treating cases involving prolapse of the pelvic organs[1]. Controversy and debate persist over which surgical procedure to select when performing cystocele repair, due to the need to consider a series of complicated issues[2], including specific bulging site (central or lateral type), apical prolapse, combined symptoms (urinary incontinence, dysuria, cough, constipation), the choice of conservative treatment, the choice of surgical methods and the patient's physical condition.
