Hallucination-Like Perceptions Are Associated with Elevated Dopamine in the Striatum in Mice

This study reported that hallucination-like perceptions in mice were associated with elevated dopamine levels in the striatum. Blocking dopamine with haloperidol reversed these hallucination-like perceptions in mice.
