Women's experiences of the second stage of labour

CONCLUSION: During the second stage of labour women experienced overwhelming sensations which made evident the importance of trusting relationships with those involved in the birth. The women were in a transformative state between pregnancy and motherhood where experiences of being involved and being provided with information and guidance were all considered crucial.
