Atrial Fibrillation in Severe Aortic Stenosis: Prognostic Value and Results of Aortic Valve Replacement
Although atrial fibrillation (AF) is common, its impact on long-term mortality has not been reliably determined in patients with aortic stenosis (AS). We aimed to assess whether AF is associated with survival in patients with severe AS and to determine the impact of AF on the results of aortic valve replacement (AVR).
