Misdiagnosis of Thoracic Aortic Disease Occurs Commonly in Emergency Transfers

CONCLUSIONS: While AAS misdiagnosis rates appear to be improving from the prior decade, there are opportunities for improved physician awareness through campaigns such as "Think Aorta."
