Conclusions.
The included randomized controlled trials demonstrated an overall positive and statistically significant effect of vertebral augmentation surgeries, such as vertebroplasty and kyphoplasty, for the treatment of cancer-related vertebral compression fractures, especially when compared with nonsurgical management, radiofrequency ablation, or chemotherapy alone.
