Futuristic Stethoscope Attachment To Go Into Clinical Trials

Eko Devices, a company featured in the 2014 Forbes 30 Under 30 list for healthcare, announced today that it has closed a $2 million funding round for its digital stethoscope attachment, the Eko Core. Investors include the co-founders of Shazam and former advisor to the HHS secretary John Noonan. The company also announced the start of a clinical trial with UCSF’s department of cardiology.
