Preoperatory imaging evaluation in primary hyperparathyroidism and associated thyroid disease

CONCLUSION: US-scintigraphy combination is suitable for preoperative evaluation and SPECT/CT confirms to be the best additional examination; the presence of thyroid disease decrease the sensitivity.
