Intravenous or oral antibiotic treatment in adults and children with cystic fibrosis and Pseudomonas aeruginosa infection: the TORPEDO-CF RCT

RCT (n=286) found intravenous antibiotics were not more likely than oral antibiotics to achieve the composite primary outcome of eradication of Pseudomonas aeruginosa infection at 3 months and remaining infection-free at 15 months (RR 0.84, 95% CI 0.65 to 1.09; p=0.184).
