Coronary vasomotion after treatment with drug-coated balloons or drug-eluting stents: a prospective, open-label, single-centre randomised trial

CONCLUSIONS: Vasoconstriction after acetylcholine infusion in the peri-treated region was less pronounced in the DCB arm than in the DES arm, suggesting that endothelial function in treated coronary vessels could be better preserved by DCB than by new-generation DES.PMID:34757917 | DOI:10.4244/EIJ-D-21-00636
