[The Point] The Coordinator of PCB/UPOP project has disclosed that Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs) are toxic chemicals that adversely affect human health and the environment around the world as they are transported by wind and water and thereby could affect people and wildlife far from the source where they are used and released.
