CONCLUSION: PNF training seems to be a useful strategy for decreasing pain and improving disability in patients with LBP. However, the quality of evidence for the outcomes of both pain and disability was low to moderate.PMID:34852989 | DOI:10.1016/j.ctcp.2021.101505

CONCLUSIONS: This study supports the view that osteopathic physicians practice a holistic approach to medical care that manifests itself through a lower risk of progression from chronic low back pain to widespread pain, lower widespread pain severity, and lesser deficits in HRQOL. Similar findings were generally associated with OMT use.PMID:34852185 | DOI:10.1515/jom-2021-0105

CONCLUSION: A single session of deep DN improved pain and function and increased hamstring flexibility. This pilot study supports the use of DN in patients with LBP and hamstring tightness; however, future research with a rigorous study design of randomized controlled trial is required to confirm the findings. This trial is registered with IRCT20180511039612N1.PMID:34845408 | PMC:PMC8627360 | DOI:10.1155/2021/7259956

Conclusions/Implications for Practice In this study, the individualized educational program was shown to be effective in helping alleviate symptoms in patients with chronic low back pain, decrease daily living disability, and improve average back muscle strength. It was further demonstrated that following up with expert medical staffs can motivate patients to incorporate the recommendations of the program into their daily routine, leading to higher patient satisfaction.
