Evaluation of a Risk-Stratified, Heparin-Based, Obstetric Thromboprophylaxis Protocol

CONCLUSION: Risk-stratified heparin-based thromboprophylaxis in a general obstetric population was associated with increased wound and bleeding complications without a complementary decrease in postpartum VTE.
