Late Open Repair of a Massive Common Iliac Artery Aneurysm after Endovascular Failure
We present an unusual case of a patient presenting nine years after index endovascular CIAA exclusion with a painless abdominal mass found to be a 20+ cm CIAA secondary to type II endoleak from a recanalized coil embolized hypogastric artery. The patient underwent open aneurysmorrhaphy with ligation of the hypogastric artery.
