Blazers assistant coach, three former key players indicted for health fraud

The Portland Trail Blazers said Thursday a current assistant coach was one of 18 former NBA players indicted in a health insurance fraud case. Milt Palacio, hired this season to serve under new coach Chauncey Billups, was among four of the men closely connected to the team over the past 20 years. Former Blazers players Darius Miles, Ruben Patterson and Sebastian Telfair were also indicted.
