Alberta man who survived COVID-19 after 39 days on a ventilator speaks out

Nearly 40 days on a ventilator. A tracheotomy. Forty-five pounds lost. Countless hours of physiotherapy. And now, PTSD and flashbacks. Paul Hemsing of Medicine Hat, Alta., is still recovering months after nearly dying of COVID-19, and is warning of the trauma the disease can inflict.
