Assessment of Food Services Pre-requisite Program in a Tertiary Hospital in Egypt

ConclusionsThe present study showed that the necessary founding element of any food safety program, comprising the policies, operating procedures and similar organizing documents which was deficient in the studied hospital. Similarly, implementation of the basic required sanitation aspects in food handling was almost half applied. Reconsideration of basic underlying system for food services is mandated in our hospital.
