A Broad Range High-Throughput Assay for Lenvatinib Using Ultra-High Performance Liquid Chromatography Coupled to Tandem Mass Spectrometry With Clinical Application in Patients With Hepatocellular Carcinoma
Conclusions: A novel high-throughput UHPLC-MS/MS assay for quantification of lenvatinib in human plasma was successfully developed. This method can be applied to PPK analysis for patients receiving lenvatinib in the clinical setting.

In conclusion, tumor tissue HIOMT mRNA and serum 5-MTP are potential biomarkers of HCC, especially when analyzed in combination with serum Kyn.
-Min Feng Chi-Yi Chen Post-radiofrequency ablation (RFA) fever is a self-limited complication of RFA. The correlation between post-RFA fever and bacteremia and the risk factors associated with post-RFA fever have not been evaluated. Patients with newly diagnosed or recurrent hepatocellular carcinoma who underwent ultrasonography-guided RFA between April 2014 and February 2019 were retrospectively enrolled. Post-RFA fever was defined as any episode of body temperature >38.0 °C after RFA during hospitalization. A total of 272 patients were enrolled, and there were 452 applications of RFA. The frequency of po...
han HCC usually arises from a chronic inflammation background, driven by several factors including fatty liver, HBV/HCV viral infection and metabolic syndrome. Systemic treatment for advanced HCC remains disappointing due to its strong resistance to chemotherapy and even to tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs). Recently, the use of ICI therapy has revolutionized the systemic treatment of advanced HCC. For the first time, clinical trials testing ICIs, anti-CTLA-4 and anti-PD1/PDL1 reported a survival benefit in patients with sorafenib resistance. However, it took four more years to find the right combination regimen to use...

ConclusionsAs a tumor prognosis-relevant gene set-based signature, Cluster C1 showed an effective approach to predict cancerization of eHCC and its related immune characteristics with considerable clinical value.
AbstractA hepatic cone-unit represents an anatomical unit dominated by a smaller Glissonean pedicle. Anatomical resection of a tumor located in an intersegmental plane is challenging, but could be achieved effectively by performing multiple cone-unit resection. We performed double cone-unit laparoscopic resection of hepatocellular carcinoma located on the intersegmental plane between segments 6a, b. The liver parenchyma covering the posterior Glissonean pedicle was divided along Rouviere ’s sulcus, the Glissonean branches of segments 6a, b were isolated and ligated, and indocyanine green (ICG) negative counterstainin...
