Roadblocks in the Medial surgical approach to the hip joint

We read with interest, the article published by Boonperm et al (1), defining a new medial approach to fix femoral head fractures. The authors have effectively tried to define a new approach in a corridor which is avoided by orthopedicians due to the high risk of neurovascular injury.
