Public Inspection: OPM, IRS, EBSA, CMS: Requirements Related to Air Ambulance Services, Agent and Broker Disclosures, and Provider Enforcement

Pre-publication notice of proposed rule from the Office of Personnel Management, Internal Revenue Service, Employee Benefits Security Administration, and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) implementing certain provisions of the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2021. Proposed changes include requiring plans, issuers, and providers of air ambulance services to submit to HHS certain data regarding air ambulance services and implementing penalties for failure to submit data, among other things. Comments are due within 30 days of the publication of this notice, which is scheduled for September 16, 2021.
