Long-Term Quality of Life after Minimally Invasive vs Open Distal Pancreatectomy in the LEOPARD Randomized Trial
This study found no difference in quality adjusted life years between minimally invasive distal pancreatectomy (MIDP) and open distal pancreatectomy (ODP) after a median of 44 months follow-up (n = 104). Patients in the MIDP group scored higher on cosmetic satisfaction as compared with ODP.
