Bronchodilator response in FOT parameters in middle-aged adults from SCAPIS: normal values and relationship to asthma and wheezing

Forced oscillation technique (FOT) is a measure of respiratory impedance first described by DuBois more than 60 years ago [1]. Respiratory impedance (Zrs) can be calculated by superimposing sound waves on normal tidal breathing without special breathing manoeuvres.
