UMass Medical School to be renamed following $175M gift from Chan family

The University of Massachusetts Medical School will be renamed following a   $175 million donation from The Morningside Foundation — a gift that will more than double the endowment of the state’s only public medical school. The school will be renamed the UMass Chan Medical School for T. H.
