COVID-19: infection prevention and control (IPC), PHE (updated 2nd September 2021)

Guidance on infection prevention and control for COVID-19. Sustained community transmission is occurring across the UK. Update in this version (published 2nd September 2021) the standard isolation period advised for contacts of cases within inpatient settings is changed back from 10 to 14 days, in line with current healthcare guidance. Update in version published 10th August 2021 - updated mental health and dental appendices in line with main IPC guidance of 1 June. Removed fallow time between household members from dental appendix.
