Re: Following the trend in maxillofacial surgery literature

This timely article by Wilson et al 1 demonstrated that the trend in the maxillofacial literature is towards higher quality research. However, the paper clearly showed, but did not discuss, the very low number of audits published in the British Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the complete absence of published audits in the International Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
