FCC: Privacy Act; Matching Program

Notice from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) seeking comment on a new computer matching program between the Federal Communications Commission and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to verify the eligibility of applicants and subscribers to Lifeline and the Emergency Broadband Benefit Program (EBBP). The Lifeline program provides support for discounted broadband and voice services to low-income consumers. The EBBP was created specifically to assist American families' access to broadband during the COVID-19 pandemic. Comments are due within 30 days of the publication of this notice, which is scheduled for September 10, 2021.
