Euglycemic Diabetic Ketoacidosis After Cardiac Surgery In A Patient Treated With Empagliflozin For Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus: A Case Report
We report a patient that developed severe euglycemic diabetic ketoacidosis (EDKA) after cardiac surgery. The patient was preoperatively treated with Empagliflozin and postoperatively presented with critical metabolic acidosis with increased anion gap.
