CMA fines Advanz Pharma over 6,000% price hike of crucial thyroid drug

Greedy bosses were fined more than £100million after they increased the price of thyroid drugs by 6,000 percent. Advanz Pharma had a monopoly on supplying Liothyronine and ripped off the NHS and thousands of private patients. The drug treats the chronic energy loss, weight gain, depression, hair loss and other symptoms caused by an under-active thyroid.
