“Development and evaluation of a new Pelvic Floor muscle training Patient reported Outcome Measures (PROM) (PFMT-P)”
Pelvic floor muscles (PFMs) support the pelvic floor organs with pelvic floor dysfunction (PFD) being a common disorder, mostly related to vaginal delivery [1,2]. PFD includes different symptoms and affects the quality of life of 25% of adult women [3,4]. The literature including review articles and individual research describes how PFD symptoms can be assessed by a variety of Patient reported Outcome Measures (PROM) including urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, fecal problems, and sexual dysfunction [5 –12].
