Open-label, Multicenter Phase II Study of Combination Therapy of Imatinib Mesylate and Mycophenolate Mofetil in pediatric patients with Steroid-Refractory Sclerotic/fibrotic Type Chronic Graft-versus-host disease
Chronic graft-versus-host disease (cGVHD) is the most common late complication following allogeneic stem cell transplantation (SCT). This disease has variable features resembling autoimmune disorders such as scleroderma, primary biliary cirrhosis, bronchiolitis obliterans, and chronic immunodeficiency1. Thus, cGVHD can lead to debilitating complications such as joint contractures, blindness, and end-stage lung disease, which has a major impact on both survival and quality of life (QOL).
