Factors related to psychological well-being amongst patients with type 2 diabetes

The effect of diabetes on psychological well-being (PWB) has been a concern for the development of better standards of medical care in diabetes management [1 –3]. PWB has been widely recognized as a major aspect of health, and evidence has shown that PWB was effective in quality of life, better glucose control, lessening burden of disease, improving work productivity, and lower mortality [4–6]. A recent systematic analysis also indicated that underst anding of PWB interventions and the related factors was promising to enhance health outcomes in patients suffering Type 2 Diabetes (T2D) [4].
