Mental disorders and risk of COVID-19-related mortality, hospitalisation, and intensive care unit admission: a systematic review and meta-analysis, The Lancet Psychiatry

Review (33 studies; 23 included in meta-analysis) found the presence of any pre-existing mental disorder was associated with an increased risk of COVID-19 mortality (OR 2.00; 95% CI 1.58 –2.54), as was exposure to antipsychotics, anxiolytics and antidepressants.
