Characterisation of in-hospital complications associated with COVID-19 using the ISARIC WHO Clinical Characterisation Protocol UK: a prospective, multicentre cohort study, The Lancet

Prospective cohort study (n=80,388) found around half of adults admitted to hospital for management of Covid-19 had at least one complication; most commonly renal, complex respiratory, and systemic complications. They were more likely in men and those aged>60 years.
