The Lancet: One in two hospitalized COVID-19 patients develop a complication
(The Lancet) An observational study of more than 70,000 people in 302 UK hospitals finds that one in two people hospitalized with COVID-19 developed at least one complication. The new study, published in The Lancet, is the first to systematically assess a range of in-hospital complications, and their associations with age, sex and ethnicity, and their outcomes for the patients.
