AbstractUltrasound imaging is a cornerstone of modern-day obstetric practice. It is critical in normal pregnancy and in the detection and management of disease. Its undisputed importance means the ability to competently perform ultrasound examinations is an asset for all clinicians involved in the care of pregnant women.
