The Nobel Prize for the Insulin Discovery

The article “History of the Nobel Prize for Insulin Discovery”, by Lars Ryden and Jan Lindsten, is addressing the multiple uncertainties surrounding the Nobel Prize (1923) for insulin discovery (1). Although there is a lot of controversy over the discovery of insulin, it is unanimously accepted that the Can adian team has played an important role in purification and administration of insulin to humans.
