Life stress, sleep disturbance and depressive symptoms: The moderating role of prefrontal activation during emotion regulation

CONCLUSION: These findings highlight the important role of prefrontal cortex function during emotion regulation in the associations between stress, sleep disturbance and depressive symptoms.
