The significance of SMARCB1 in the pathogenesis of renal cell carcinoma with rhabdoid features
CONCLUSION: Inactivation of INI1 may play a role in the pathogenesis of RCC-RF. Erlotinib is recommended in the management of patients with INI1-related RCC.PMID:34243015 | DOI:10.1016/j.tranon.2021.101175
CONCLUSIONS: This signature was proven to have a potential predictive significance for the prognosis of patients with ccRCC and the efficacy of immunotherapy.PMID:34512816 | PMC:PMC8429034 | DOI:10.1155/2021/8800358
This article summarizes the milestones in the development of savolitinib leading to this first approval.
This article gives an overview of the WHO classification of RCC, showing the histological diversity of nccRCC and focusing particularly on entities first characterized since 2016, their specific molecular behavior and their role as indicators for hereditary cancer syndromes. In this context, we discuss the available data on nccRCC treatment oprtions such as tyrosine kinase inhibitors, mammalian target of rapamycin inhibitors, cytotoxic chemotherapy and immune checkpoint inhibitors.EXPERT OPINION: Although nccRCCs are relatively uncommon, entities of this type account for a subgroup of up to 20-25% of all RCCs. Advances in ...
Brief Bioinform. 2021 May 11:bbab173. doi: 10.1093/bib/bbab173. Online ahead of print.ABSTRACTIncreasing evidences show the clinical significance of the interaction between hypoxia and immune in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC) microenvironment. However, reliable prognostic signatures based on a combination of hypoxia and immune have not been well established. Moreover, many studies have only used RNA-seq profiles to screen the prognosis feature of ccRCC. Presently, there is no comprehensive analysis of multiomics data to mine a better one. Thus, we try and get it. First, t-SNE and ssGSEA analysis were used to estab...
ConclusionIt could contribute to a better understanding of ccRCC tumorigenesis mechanism and guide clinicians to make a more accurate treatment decision.
Conclusions: To the best of our knowledge, this is the first case report of perirenal metastases from squamous cell carcinoma of the cervix. Although an uncommon site of distant metastases from cervical cancer, FDG avid soft tissue deposits in the perirenal space should raise suspicion of metastasis, and early biopsy should be done to confirm the diagnosis. Patients with metastatic cervical cancer, including those with perirenal metastasis, have poor outcomes.
