New Lockport hospital project to seek state approval July 15
Catholic Health is relying on a $37.9 million tax-exempt bond at 4% interest over 30 years and $20.7 million in cash to help build the new hospital in Lockport. Funding for the $65 million project also includes $500,000 in fundraising and a state grant of $5.9 million previously awarded to Eastern Niagara Hospital.
