RUS: Streamlining Electric Program Procedures

Notice of final rule from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Utilities Service (RUS) revising regulations to streamline its procedures for Electric Program borrowers, including its loan application requirements, approval of construction work plans, contract bidding procedures, and contract approval procedures, among other procedures. This rule will also remove unnecessary sections of the regulations. This rule is effective September 7, 2021.
