94% of patients with cancer respond well to COVID-19 vaccines
(University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio) More than 9 of 10 patients with cancer showed good immune response to the COVID-19 mRNA vaccines after receiving both doses, but subsets of high-risk patients did not, according to a study conducted by researchers at the Mays Cancer Center, home to UT Health San Antonio MD Anderson, and Swiss collaborators.
