Comparing the effect of individual counseling with counseling on social application on self-care and quality of life of women with gestational diabetes

Gestational diabetes Mellitus (GDM) is a growing health problem all over the world and one of the most common complications of pregnancy [1,2]. In 2014, the World Health Organization (WHO) stated that high blood sugar at any time of pregnancy along with high blood sugar before pregnancy is considered as GDM [3]. So, American Diabetes Association recommended fasting blood sugar test for all pregnant women at the first pregnancy visit. If fasting blood sugar is 126  mg/dl or more, a repeated test is recommended one week later.
