7,8-Dihydroxyflavone improves cognitive functions in ICV-STZ rat model of sporadic Alzheimer ’s disease by reversing oxidative stress, mitochondrial dysfunction, and insulin resistance

ConclusionsConclusively, 7,8-DHF was found to be neuroprotective in the ICV-STZ rat model by ameliorating oxidative stress, mitochondrial dysfunction, and insulin resistance, thereby improving cognitive functions evident with the behavioral results.
