Biden Administration Invests Additional $1.8 Billion in American Rescue Plan Funding to Combat COVID-19 in Indian Country
The Indian Health Service (IHS) announced an investment of $1.8 billion from the American Rescue Plan toward combatting COVID-19 in Indian Country. Funding will support public health workforce activities, mental health and substance abuse prevention and treatment, COVID-19 mitigation, and COVID-19 related facilities activities.
