In conclusion, OSFMD yielded simil ar improvements in overall OHRQL in both obese and non-obese individuals. Periodontal parameters were associated with a worse quality of life in obese patients. Periodontal treatment can be an important component to improve the OHRQL of obese individuals, and clinicians should expect similar res ults as those obtained with non-obese patients.
